In 2027, Hector Ayala was killed by an unknown assailant who idolized the Punisher.[3] His niece Angela Del Toro went to Matt Murdock to tell him her uncle was investigating the many kidnappings occurring before his death. When Murdock refused to help, Del Toro decided to look into it herself. Going into an old subway line, Del Toro spotted some graffiti art including the Punisher symbol. However, she was soon knocked out by Muse and taken to his lair.[4]

When Soledad Ayala called Matt Murdock and told him that Angela didn't come home, Murdock decided to become Daredevil once more and donned his suit for the first time since the Attack on Josie's Bar and the death of Foggy Nelson. While at his lair, Muse started taking Del Toro's blood when he heard footsteps and went out to investigate. Daredevil threw his Billy Club at Muse, who avoided it, and began to fight against him culminating in Muse's escape.[4]
Aftermath[]
- "A girl named Angela Del Toro was dropped off at Presbyterian late last night. Says she actually escaped from Muse."
"She's still alive?"
"She lost a lotta blood, like, 2,500 milliliters which, I don't know, kinda sounds like a lot, but she was able to point the cops toward Muse's hideout." - ―Daniel Blake and Wilson Fisk[src]
