Ivan Kragoff (Russian: Иван Крагофф) is an enemy of the Fantastic Four known as Red Ghost.
Biography[]
Ivan Kragoff became the villain known as Red Ghost. Red Ghost and his Super-Apes had some conflicts with the Fantastic Four, and their encounters would become known by the public, resulting in him being featured as a character in their cartoon. Ivan attempted to steal the Fantastic Four's Excelsior while his apes tried to stop Mister Fantastic from reaching him, but still got defeated. Following Invisible Woman's pregnancy, Mister Fantastic tracked down Red Ghost's criminal organization and tipped off the police, who went to apprehend him.[2][1]

- In the comics, Ivan Kragoff was a villain known as Red Ghost who controlled apes effected by cosmic radiation.
Behind the Scenes[]
- Though featured in the trailer, John Malkovich was intended to play Red Ghost as The Fantastic Four: First Steps's opening villain. However, he was cut from the final film.[1]
- Red Ghost was originally going to be the one to destroy the Teleportation Bridge and the scene was actually filmed, but Matt Shakman thought it would make more sense for the Silver Surfer to be the one responsible for it.[4]
