"Red" is a bank robber who worked with Devlin during the robbery of New York Mutual Bank.

Red knocks AJ down
Being forced to pay Viktor a $1.8 million restitution by Wilson Fisk, Luca ordered Devlin and his men to rob New York Mutual Bank and steal a valuable diamond from the vault. Devlin brought in Red and three more robbers with him for the robbery, arriving at the bank and preparing their weapons, while Selene acted as their woman on the inside. Once they cut the power at the bank, Devlin and the robbers walked in brandishing their guns, and Red approached AJ to knock him down. Red and the others soon took the situation under their control, taking civilians and bank employees as their hostages, gathering them at the foyer.
Red holds Matt Murdock at gunpoint
Suddenly, Matt Murdock casually strolled into the bank, so Red pointed the gun at him and ordered Murdock to freeze, while Murdock acted confused and disorientated. Noticing that Murdock was blind, Red threatened to shoot him and brought him to over the rest of the hostages. Devlin then addressed the hostages and threatened them into obeying, but when Murdock spoke up about him adding felony murder to his robbery charge, Devlin had Red hitting Murdock in the ribs as an example for others. As Devlin was trying to look for someone to open the vault and settled on Yusuf Khan, Red and the others saw the New York City Police Department pulling up outside and surrounding the building.
Red talks to Devlin about their plan
As the police was summoning SWAT to the scene, Devlin spoke to Red and said that there would not be any changes in their plan and they were going to follow it. They then went to the nearby office and took off their masks to talk about how could the police get there so fast and Devlin suggested that someone could have triggered the alarm before they got in. Red found it hard to believe, but Devlin insisted that it did not matter and they needed to do what Luca ordered and follow Plan B. Devlin then ordered Red to watch the hostages with Yellow and Purple, while he would deal with the police and Blue would take Khan to the vault.
Red then listened to Devlin speaking to Angie Kim, demanding three armored APVs for their getaway, although Kim requested a couple of hostages to be released as a sign of good faith. Red asked what would their move be, and Devlin decided to let the NYPD think they were in control and decided to do what Kim asked for. Devlin initially settled on releasing Belinda and Murdock, but the latter convinced Devlin to release Keith in his stead.[1]

Some time later, Red saw that Matt Murdock was standing, even though the robbers ordered all hostages to stay on they knees, so he and Yellow approached Murdock. He apologized and said he needed to go, which made Red assume that he regretted staying when he had a chance to leave, but Murdock clarified that he was talking about needing a restroom. Red reluctantly agreed, asking if there were any other hostages that needed to go, before pointing a gun at Murdock's head to prevent him from doing anything reckless. Keeping Murdock at a gunpoint, Red guided him to the staircase on the way to the restroom, but Murdock suddenly folded his cane and attacked Red.
Red gets taken out by Matt Murdock
As Murdock managed to catch him by surprise and disarm him, Red tried to pull out a knife and stab him, but Murdock avoided the attack and slammed Red's head against the railing. The two then tumbled down the stairs and Murdock tried to choke him with his necktie, so Red cut it with his knife before Murdock knocked it out of his hands. Red managed to land a punch in Murdock's face but it did not help much, as Murdock was able to take him in a chokehold, but had to briefly let go to catch his gun from falling down and alerting the others. As he grabbed the gun just in time, Murdock continued to choke Red until he passed out, taking off his mask and rushing to help Khan. As Devlin failed to steal the diamond and the SWAT moved in to take the robbers down, Red was taken into custody along with the others.[1]
