Escape from the Ten Rings Headquarters[]
In 2024, during their escape from the Ten Rings Headquarters, Shang-Chi, Xu Xialing, Katy Chen, and Trevor Slattery went to the underground garage to find a vehicle to use. Xialing took the keys to Razor Fist's car as Chen admired its design. As they unlocked the car and got inside, Razor Fist noticed in the security room and sent Ten Rings' agents to stop them from escaping. However, with Chen driving, they were able to make a successful escape.[1]
Journey to Ta Lo[]
By the next morning, they arrived at the edge of the forest maze guarding the entryway to Ta Lo. Chen briefly parked the car outside the forest as Trevor Slattery talked to them about his life, until Morris told them to go. As they slowly made their way, the maze began to close behind them as Chen sped the car up. Using Morris' directions, Katy navigated through the maze and made it to the entrance. Afterward, they went through the gateway behind the entrance's waterfall as they made it to Ta Lo.[1]
