Ramirez was an airman of the United States Air Force. She was a member of Tony Stark's escort back to Bagram in Afghanistan, until their convoy was ambushed by the Ten Rings, during which she was killed protecting Stark.

Ramirez drives Tony Stark
Ramirez, along with Adam Pratt and Jimmy Ryan, were assigned to escort Tony Stark, who had just finished his demonstration of the Jericho missile for the United States Air Force, back to Bagram in a Humvee convoy. During the trip, the convoy was attacked by members of the Ten Rings to kidnap Stark. She was shot and killed as she exited the Humvee.[1]
