"It's like a satellite for deep space or the ocean, but quantum."
Cassie Lang to Scott Lang[src]

The Quantum Satellite is a device created by Cassie Lang that sends a signal to the Quantum Realm to map it.

History[]

Creation[]

Between the Blip and 2026, Cassie Lang constructed the Quantum Satellite with the help of Hank Pym and Hope van Dyne. They built the satellite in order to learn more about the Quantum Realm without having to travel there.[1]

Hijacked[]

Excited to show Scott Lang what they had been working on, Hank Pym, Hope van Dyne, and Cassie Lang took him and Janet van Dyne down to the basement of the Pym Residence to show them the satellite. Cassie turned it on in an attempt to showcase the satellite's capabilities, but Janet yanked the wires out after she learned it sent a signal into the Quantum Realm. However, she yanked out the wires too late, and M.O.D.O.K. took control of the signal, having hijacked the satellite and sending all five, and some nearby ants, into the Quantum Realm.[1]

Return[]

Believing they had defeated Kang the Conqueror, Hank Pym, Hope and Janet van Dyne, and Cassie and Scott Lang sought to return to their home. They opened a portal connecting back to the Quantum Satellite in the basement of the Pym Residence. Once they defeated Kang, the family returned home to San Francisco.[1]

Capabilities[]

The Quantum Satellite is a device that acts like a two-way radio, sending a signal to the Quantum Realm. It then collects data and sends information creating a 3D map as a hologram. The satellite signal can also be altered to create a portal to the Quantum Realm that can be used for travel.
