Alexander Gentry is a former member of the Abomaste. He has a suit coated with spikes which gave him the name Porcupine.

In 2025, Gentry went to Emil Blonsky's retreat and joined Abomaste. One day, Gentry joined Águila, Blonsky, Man-Bull, and Saracen at the Wood Lodge for their meeting. As they were starting, Jennifer Walters walked in by accident exclaiming how she finally found internet connection. Blonsky invited her to join them, but she declined. When asked if he wanted to remove his suit, Gentry declined saying it made him feel safer.

Gentry and the others then were joined by Dirk Garthwaite and witnessed when Walters transformed into She-Hulk to toss him into the corner. She explained how he had attacked her, leading to her joining them to resolve her issue with him. She additionally opened up about Josh Miller and how he had ghosted her, with Taurens asking how if they had sex or not. He, along with the others, told Walters she was a friend to them and encouraged her to find peace with herself. Encouraged, Gentry removed his mask to reveal his face, although the others told him to keep his suit on as it needed to be dry-cleaned.[1]

After Walters had peace about her alter ego, she wanted a yurt. Gentry and the others waited outside for her, and when she came out, they cheered in approval. When the tow truck came, they said goodbyes to Walters and gave her a farewell card. Later, Porcupine did try to dry clean his clothes, but the cleaners did not take it due to the smell.[1]

- Porcupine's Suit: Porcupine used his spiked suit as a security blanket and refused to take it off, even to wash. With encouragement from the rest of Abomaste, Porcupine finally took the mask off and revealed his face, as well as the smell that had developed in the suit. He kept the suit on until he was able to take it to the dry cleaner to get cleaned.
