The "Poison Fruit Baby" Universe is an alternate universe manifested as a dream for Skye.

In a state of panic, Skye ran down the hall of the Playground looking for Phil Coulson. She looked around asking where everyone went, but stopped when hearing a song. She then found herself in front of a table. Suddenly, a box and Coulson arrived in front of her. Skye said they had a mission to prep for, but Coulson told her the box was the mission. Coulson then reached for the box, which a scared Skye pushed away.
Skye then found herself sitting on the ground and saw Melinda May and Coulson holding a baby. May then said they need to make sacrifices. Coulson then laid the baby on the table, telling her goodbye. The two then walked away, leaving the baby alone, which Skye protested. However, they did not hear Skye. Skye approached the baby only to become encased in stone upon touching the Diviner.[1]

- The dream acts as a look into Skye's past as the baby represents Skye and her parent-figures, Melinda May and Phil Coulson leave her, just like Jiaying and Calvin Zabo left her. Additionally, there are many other allusions such as Coulson holding a Chinese newspaper, showing Skye's origins as well as the song Daisy Bell playing in the background.
- The song Daisy Bell's lyrics are "Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do, I'm half crazy all for the love of you" which is symbolism for Calvin Zabo who is crazy due to his quest for Skye, whose real name is Daisy.
- Skye turns to stone when touching the Diviner, indicating she is human in this universe.
