Pluvians[1] are an extraterrestrial race of crystalline humanoids that are spread throughout the galaxy.
History[]
Martinex, a Pluvian, joined Stakar Ogord's Ravager Clan and was a member of his team. However, after the exile of Yondu Udonta from the Ravagers, the team disbanded, with only Ogord and Martinex staying together. Martinex joined Ogord and his clan on a trip to the Iron Lotus to relax, but left along with the rest of the clan upon encountering Udonta. However, he later joined the rest of the Ravagers during Udonta's funeral, saluting the dead Ravager. Afterwards, he reunited with his team and decided to go on heists together with them once again.[2]
Characteristic Traits[]
Pluvians are a humanoid race whose physical features are similar to those of Humans. Pluvian bodies are composed of silicon-isotope crystals, enabling them to survive in extremely cold temperatures and even in the vacuum of space. This also makes their bodies more durable than those of humans, although they take longer to heal when damaged. The crystals on their heads grow continuously, necessitating occasional carving. Pluvians are also known for having a long lifespan.[1]

- In the comics, the Pluvians were a race of genetically engineered human subspecies that lived on Pluto. The subspecies was almost made extinct in the 31st Century when they were slaughtered by the Badoon, leaving Martinex T'Naga as the only survivor.
