The Playground is a virtual recreation of the real-world S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters of the same name that serves as the headquarters for the Resistance inside the Framework.
History
The Playground within the Framework was in a poor state of disrepair when Jeffrey Mace (Inhuman leader of the Resistance) learned of it's existence from a loyal S.H.I.E.L.D. agent called Billy Koenig. It was abandoned for 70 years and no one knew of it's existence. It took the resistance several years to get the facility operational.
During the early days of the Resistance using the Playground as a base, many agents died and their names were carved into a brick wall within the base as a Wall of Valor.
The facility is also a sanctuary for those of Inhuman potential and their families.
The hanger is a state of disrepair and the hanger doors seem to be unable to be closed.
