- "You could at least let Tony bring me, I got lost three times trying to find this damn place."
"Sure, but then I would've had to put a bullet in the back of his head. No one comes here, period." - ―Mariah Dillard and Diamondback[src]
Pier 22 Warehouse had been the original base of operations for Diamondback.
History[]
Selling Judas Bullets[]
Diamondback used the Pier 22 Warehouse as a base of operations, and invited Mariah Dillard to the warehouse to discuss the Judas Bullets. Dillard got lost three times going, and when she did arrive, Diamondback complained about her being late and explained that he would not go to her since power did not travel. Diamondback invited Dillard into the warehouse, where she saw a group of weapons and asked whether they were the cure that the pair had discussed. Diamondback explained that the bullets were made from Chitauri materials, and Dillard was unimpressed. Dillard pointed out that being shot with a Judas Bullet did not kill Luke Cage, but Diamondback countered that making Cage bleed was all he needed.
Dillard further questioned as to who would be able to afford the Judas Bullets, and Diamondback explained that they could be broken down for mass production, rather than needing to be used by a Judas Rifle. Dillard further insisted that she was a politician, not a gun seller, but Diamondback asked what the difference was. Dillard said that there were laws and decisions to be made through bureaucracy. However, Diamondback said that Dillard was out of time, as he intended to get his revenge go Cage, shocking Dillard. Dillard watched as Diamondback put on the Judas Gauntlet and said that he would cause a few deaths in Harlem to drive fear. Dillard reminded Diamondback that Cage needed to be their focus, and Diamondback insisted that Cage would always be their focus.[1]
