The subject of this article is part of an MCU franchise story that has been officially deemed to be non-canonical to the primary continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Its events instead occur in another reality within the Multiverse. This universe is designated by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki as the "Stark Industries Plane Manufacturer Universe".

Virginia "Pepper" Potts is Tony Stark's assistant.

Biography[]

Worrying about Iron Man[]

Pepper Potts worked for Tony Stark as his personal assistant at Stark Industries. Potts stood next to Stark in a press conference as he announced that he was working on a new invention. Potts, aware that he was working on a suit of armor, worried for Stark, warning that it was too dangerous. As Stark finished the armor, Potts pleaded with Stark to test the armor further. However, Stark simply insisted it was alright and took off on a test flight.

The next morning, Stark read the news report on his activities as Iron Man the night before and read the paper over his shoulder.[2]
