Biography[]
Stark Industries[]
Attack from A.I.M.[]
- "Oh, y'know, typical Tuesday. Armed thugs trying to wreck Stark Industries, steal my latest tech..."

Pepper Potts was an employee of Stark Industries and lover of Tony Stark. One day, Potts heard of an attack on the company by A.I.M. Stark told her he was on it, prompting Potts to jokingly state he would be back for lunch. Stark estimated he would be back for dinner.
Later on, Potts helped Stark by trying to recalibrate his autopilot, fearing that without it, Stark would be defenseless if he were ever knocked out. She asked Stark to try to do more maneuvers, so the autopilot could learn his tendencies. As Potts tried to help Stark further, she found that A.I.M. wanted the improved Extremis that Stark Industries had been woking on. Furthermore, she told Stark that due to the damage to his suit, she needed to recalibrate it. Later, Stark notified her that he would not be back for dinner after all as he had to go to Manhattan.
As Stark fought in New York, Potts got word from James Rhodes that he had taken down some ships and wanted Stark to share combat intel with him. She also found out that some A.I.M. personnel were scared of Stark and turned themselves over to the police. Later, Potts suggested Stark upgrade his armor as A.I.M. was getting used to it. She was then called by Stark asking Potts to look at Obadiah Stane's file. Potts found that Obadiah had a son, Ezekiel Stane, who he kept quiet. Potts helped Stark again, this time with discussing who the leader of A.I.M. could be, with Stark believing it to be M.O.D.O.K.[1]
Kidnapped[]
- "I won't hurt this pretty little thing... yet. She knows all your bank accounts, access codes... and she's going to make them mine"

Later, Ezekiel Stane showed up and kidnapped Potts, knowing she had Tony Stark's passwords. When Stark called to ask about M.O.D.O.K., Potts only apologized for what happened. Stane then took the phone and told Stark that once he got information from Potts, she would be killed.
While imprisoned, Potts listened to Stane talk about how M.O.D.O.K. was going to upload his consciousness to Stark tech in order to attack Earth under the name of Stark Industries so that A.I.M. could fill the void once everything was over. Eventually, James Rhodes came and saved Potts.[1]
Stark Resilient[]
- "Sounds like a statement. Now here's a statement from me. If you don't get back home soon, you can have date night with M.O.D.O.K."

Iron Man then went out to stop M.O.D.O.K. once and for all. However, M.O.D.O.K. had already uploaded his consciousness to the Stark Industries server. Therefore, Stark had no choice but to shut down Stark Industries and their servers, therefore killing M.O.D.O.K. Potts asked if there was really no other way, which Stark assured there was not. He then said they would start over as Stark Resilient. Potts agreed and told Stark to get home for dinner like he promised.[1]
Personality[]
Potts is a kind soul who always tried to help her lover, Iron Man. She worried for Stark as she kept telling him to be careful with his missions. To help, she kept track of his armor and implemented extra protection like a defense mode.
Abilities[]
- Master Engineer: Potts routinely worked on Iron Man's armor and worked with data to better secure Stark's safety.
