Kidnapping of Tony Stark

Pedro Ramirez was assigned to protect Tony Stark on his trip to Afghanistan. Ramirez was in a Humvee escorting Stark away from his weapons demonstration when Stark joked about them being from out of town. Stark suggested that the soldiers were not allowed to talk, but Ramirez corrected Stark and explained that they were, guessing that the others were intimidated. Stark jokingly referred to Ramirez as an woman, making the soldiers laugh. However, the convoy was suddenly attacked by the Ten Rings.
