Paulie was a construction worker living in New York City. He and his friends liked harassing Pete Castiglione in the workplace.
Biography
Construction Work
Paulie was one of the construction workers whom accompanied Lance and others. Upon Donny Chavez's arrival to the site, they befriended him and introduced him to the workplace and Pete Castiligione, whom they often choose to harass for his silence and constant working.
During one evening, Paulie and the others invited Chavez to drinking at a local bar so long as he agreed to pay for their drinks. While there, he was approached by Lance for a secondary offer in accumulating more money to repay the Gnucci Crime Family. Paulie informed him that he would try to communicate with his cousin on a possible side-job. The next day, he told Lance that he had proposed an offer to rob the Gnucci that night, citing that he would enjoy using the Gnucci's own money to pay off his debt. Soon, they find Castiligione resting behind a thin wall and assumed he had eavesdropped on their conversation. The two continued to harass him until the sound of Scut in pain redirected their attention to his injury.
Left with one less man than initially desired, Paulie and Lance turned to Chavez to substitute Scut in their upcoming illegal dealings, telling him he could not ask questions. With him onboard with the plan, the men cleaned up before piling into Leo's car.[3]
Killed by Pete Castiligione

Paulie and his pals returned to the construction site, where they became violent towards Chavez. He proposed they kill him with their gun, but Lance denied this method, instead, ordering Leo to start the mixer, in which he gladly obliged. Despite attempting to handle Chavez, Paulie and the others chased after Chavez, whom wielded a rod and tried to down the men. Paulie and Leo overpowered Chavez and tossed him in the pit full of liquid cement.
As the men stood over and watched a frantic Chavez beg to be lifted, they were confronted by Pete Castiligione, whom demanded the mixer be turned off. Rather than comply, the men fought Castiligione but are completely caught off guard by his superior training, speed and ferocity. Paulie is hit in the face with his sledgehammer and rendered in pain and immobilization when Castiglione kicks him with such power that his leg is broken. Despite this Paulie attempts to fight back, but Castiglione counters this with a hit to the abdomen and furiously striking him across the face with the end of his sledgehammer, leaving only a look of complete shock and pain as he falls helpless to the fall. However, he gets up and fires but the bullets only struck the concrete column and miss Castiglione. He desperately sought the car and tried to escape despite Lance’s please otherwise; however, he was shot square in the head by Castiligione before his body is thrown into the cement vat.[3]
