"He discovered that there were universes stacked on top of his own..."
The subject of this article comes from an alternate universe connecting to the main timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This universe is designated by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki as "History Altered by Chronicoms".

"I like to think of this lab as a womb, and we are birthing the future. Jet propulsion, space travel, and, of course, beating the Russians."
―Pascal Vega[src]

Doctor Pascal Vega is a S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist who worked at Area 51.

Biography[]

Working for S.H.I.E.L.D.[]

Pascal Vega accepted a job as a S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist and was stationed at Area 51, where he worked on Project Helius. Eventually, due to there being a lack of adequate power to get Helius up to velocity, the project was terminated.[1]

Aiding S.H.I.E.L.D.[]

"Helius itself is on the testing field. Now, an ion fusion reactor is one of rocket science's holy grails. Think of it... it could power a space station in perpetuity."
―Pascal Vega to "Gerald Sharpe" and "Peggy Carter"[src]

In an alternate 1955, Vega was approached by Phil Coulson and Jemma Simmons, under the guise of being Gerald Sharpe and Peggy Carter, respectively. He gave the two a tour of the science lab, showing them an electromagnetic pulse device and a model the weapon designed by Project Helius. "Sharpe" joked about the model, pretending to think it was the real thing, and Vega explained that the real weapon was in the testing field. "Carter" then asked to question the science staff, as the two claimed to know more than Vega about the project.

Vega later interrupted the questioning process in order to tell "Sharpe" and "Carter" that a new group of people had arrived, asking if they wanted to question them as well. He then revealed to the two that the group of people who were arriving were VIPs visiting the base as they were testing Helius that day.

While Vega was giving a tour of the facility and showing off the Walkie-Talkie Wristwatch, the Chronicom Hunters later started to give power to the weapon, causing it to become dangerously explosive. "Sharpe," "Carter," and Daisy Johnson approached Vega, who had observed that the base was in danger. "Sharpe" instructed him to help people evacuate Area 51, despite his knowledge that there would not be enough time.[1]

"You're a real cut-up, Mr. Sharpe. That's the model, one-twentieth in scale."
―"Gerald Sharpe" and Pascal Vega[src]

Doctor Vega is very passionate about the advancement of science and technology.
