Rescue of Wakandan Hostages[]
In 2009, Zanda and Douglas Scott took hostages in Asunción, Paraguay, including people who were Wakandan. T'Challa and Okoye were sent to rescue them. T'Challa and Okoye fought through several guards. Zanda then fought T'Challa while Okoye approached the hostages. Zanda shot T'Challa with a vibranium bullet, hurting him. However, T'Challa continued to fight Zanda, giving the hostages a chance to escape. While the rest of the terrorist group chased the hostages, Zanda went after T'Challa while Okoye fought Scott. The hostages were greeted by the police, who entered as Zanda held Okoye at gunpoint. Zanda and Scott fled, and T'Challa and Okoye followed behind on their jet. They ambushed Scott and Zanda as they arrived at a boat, defeating the guards, as well as Zanda and Scott. T'Challa and Okoye then returned to Wakanda.[1]
