In 1985, a Renaissance fair was held in Oshkosh, where many people attended.[1]

Sylvie's Ambush[]
Sylvie Laufeydottir traveled to a Renaissance fair being held in Oshkosh in 1985, creating an alternate timeline and alerting the Time Variance Authority to her presence. A group of Minutemen arrived, led by Hunter C-20, and tracked Laufeydottir to a tent. As they entered the tent, Laufeydottir possessed C-20 and made her kill her teammates, confusing them. Laufeydottir then rendered C-20 unconscious and stole her TemPad, taking her and her Reset Charges.[1]
