Behind the Scenes[]

  • According to Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach who were the main producers of the The Amazing Spider-Man duology, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures had discussed the idea of including the Oscorp Tower as depicted in the films in the New York City skyline for The Avengers, which therefore would have placed the The Amazing Spider-Man film series within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the idea was scrapped as the design for the building was not finalized in time to add it to the digital skyline.[3]
