Orson Randall obtained a corpse of previous Iron Fist and was contacted by Davos who wanted to purchase it. Randall sent a shipping container with corpse through Hancock Transport to New York City.

Months later, Danny Rand and Ward Meachum got consignment note of the shipment and decided to find Randall and get answers. They searched him across Asia and stolen his shipment from his warehouse in Jakarta.

• In the comics, Orson Randall is WWI veteran and mentor for Wendell Rand. Randall was trained in K'un-Lun by Lei Kung and Yu-Ti, and eventually defeated Shou-Lao to become the Immortal Iron Fist.
