Foundation[]
OrgoCorp was founded by High Evolutionary as a front for his bioengineering projects. The company produced advanced cybergenetic technology and genetic enhancements across the galaxy, positioning itself as a leading force in cybergenetic research. The Orgoscope, a major research facility run by OrgoCorp, possessed valuable cybergenetic intellectual property, and housed documentation for all species created by the High Evolutionary, including the Xeronians, the Ani-Men and the Sovereign.
However, High Evolutionary also used OrgoCorp as a front to fund his own experiments that operated outside the boundaries of intergalactic laws, which involved illegal experimentation on animals and children. The company also established Arête Laboratories on Counter-Earth, where Batch 89 was created. Soon, Orgocorp created the Humanimals to succeed Batch 89, while ordering the 89 test subjects to be killed. However, one of the subjects, 89P13, escaped and would eventually become an intergalactic outlaw. As of 2026, OrgoCorp was said to have been active for over three hundred years.[1]
High Evolutionary's Defeat[]
After it was shown that the society on Counter-Earth suffered from problems such as violence, crime and homelessness, High Evolutionary ordered the planet to be destroyed while seeking to create a new colony someplace else, using the Star Children as potential candidates for the new colony. OrgoCorp also created the Hell Spawn to protect the new colony. After High Evolutionary's defeat at the hands of the Guardians of the Galaxy, all of OrgoCorp's activities were shut down.[1]
