Orbose is a millenium-old language spoken by the High Evolutionary and used by both the Humanimals of Counter-Earth and the Star Children. Drax the Destroyer was also able to speak it as he knew the language ever since his childhood, and therefore was the only one of the Guardians of the Galaxy who could communicate with the Star Children.[1][2]

- When a word is used repeatedly in the Orbose language, this can be used to emphasise the meaning of the word. For example, domo domo is used to emphasise the meaning of "run."

- Orbose is not included in the set of languages commonly included in the non-universal Translator Implants used in the Andromeda Galaxy. Because of this, even expert translators like Mantis and Nebula do not know the language.
