Onikirimaru (鬼切丸) was a Japanese katana that was gifted to Druig after he saved Yoshiie Minamoto's life and killed Kappa.
History[]
Battle of Heian-Kyo[]
While fighting a Deviant, given the name Kappa, Druig was forced to control Yoshiie Minamoto and use his sword to severe Kappa's arm. Druig then used to kill the deviant.[1]
Gifted to Druig[]
After the Battle of Heian-Kyo, Yoshiie Minamoto gifted the katana to Druig, who jumped in front of Minamoto to stop a Deviant attack.[1]
Remembering the Battle[]
One day on the Domo, Makkari ran around the ship looking for Sersi. Once she found her, Sersi was holding the katana and Makkari quickly told her she owned it. Sersi said that it was not true; however, she did not remember where it was from. Sprite then arrived and showed an illusion of what happened in the battle.[1]
