The One Legged Prisoner was a criminal imprisoned in the Kyln.

The One Legged Prisoner commited a crime and was arrested by the Nova Corps, who placed him in the Kyln. In 2014, the prisoner was approached by new inmate Peter Quill, who told the prisoner he needed his prosthetic leg. Although initially confused by the request, the prisoner agreed to give Quill his leg in exchange for thirty thousand Units.
The prisoner was later killed when Ronan the Accuser and his army arrived at the Kyln searching for Gamora, alongside all of the guards and other inmates at the prison.[1]
