Morgan le Fay and her Coven of witches brought an incapacitated Molly Hernandez on the roof of the Olympic Grand Hotel, planning on perpetrating a magic ritual in which Hernandez would be sacrificed in an attempt to open and merge the Dark Dimension with Earth. The witches gathered in circle around Hernandez and began reciting the incantation for the spell, causing clouds to form a massive circle of thunder around the roof of the hotel.
However, PRIDE, through Geoffrey Wilder who had been released of the spell put on him by le Fay, was alerted of her plans. Posing as a CDC team, they entered the hotel and pretended to Kirk that the building had to be put in lockdown due to an epidemic risk. While Dale and Stacey Yorkes distracted Kirk in the lobby, Wilder and Tina Minoru took the elevator up to the roof, Victor Stein monitored the situation with the X-Ray Specs and Leslie Dean waited for them in the parking lot.
PRIDE waited for the right moment to intervene, but seeing Hernandez being struck by lightning, Wilder immediately stepped in and took Hernandez with him, followed by Minoru who could read the sigils of the spells used by the witches. They then fled, but on the way Hernandez, due to still being possessed by the witches, violently attacked Wilder, throwing him against a vent shaft before being released from the spell by Minoru. PRIDE and Hernandez then got into the van where Dean waited for them and they left the hotel.[1]
