Old Lace was the pet dinosaur of Gert Yorkes, who passed away while fighting Morgan le Fay.

Losing Yorkes[]
Old Lace was hanging out near Gert Yorkes in the Hostel when Yorkes called her over. Yorkes got close, explaining she was taking a serum that could disrupt their connection. She also explained that Lace could maybe become rabid and act like a normal Dinosaur so they had to lock her up. Yorkes and Lace then shared a moment as they touched heads before Lace was locked up for safety.
Later, Lace sensed Yorkes getting hurt and tried to break out, repeatedly ramming herself into the door. Once the lock broke, she ran to the stairs, only to find that Yorkes was dead. Old Lace then roared in agony.[2]

Three years later, Old Lace lived at the Hostel with Molly Hernandez and Chase Stein, who barely came out of his room, still mourning the loss of Yorkes. When Hernandez got home from school, Lace walked up to Hernandez, scaring her before she pet Lace.[1]

- Deinonychus Physiology: Old Lace was a Deinonychus, which naturally gave her superhuman assets.
- Superhuman Strength: Old Lace was able to break through multiple high security locks on a door.
- Superhuman Speed: Old Lace could run very fast as a Deinonychus.
- Mind Link: Old Lace had a link with Gert Yorkes, allowing them to communicate and feel each other's feelings. Old Lace sensed Yorkes dying and tried to break out.
