Biography[]
Killmonger's Return[]
Okoye attends a defense meeting.
After Erik Killmonger had announced his return, he was escorted by Okoye and the Dora Milaje to the Citadel so he could meet with King T'Chaka and Queen Ramonda. He verified his true origins with them and warned them of the United States' attack using Stark Liberator Drones.
Planning out a defense, Killmonger told them about the construction of the drones using vibranium, but Okoye pointed out that the drones were built by Americans, remarking how the invasion would not last long.[1]
Invasion of Wakanda[]
The armies of Wakanda were led by Ramonda and Okoye against the Stark Liberator Drones. Okoye was able to take down several drones as the invasion went on, though she was grabbed by one of the drones. Killmonger saved Okoye as she fought alongside him. The two were joined by Ramonda later on and soon, they won the battle. Okoye celebrated Wakanda's victory alongside the rest of the Wakandan soldiers.[1]
Personality[]
Okoye is dedicated to being the General of the Dora Milaje and being a part of Wakanda. She believes that Wakanda is superior to other nations, as she mentioned that the Stark Liberator Drones were built by Americans despite their construction using vibranium.
Abilities[]
- Master Martial Artist: As the General of the Dora Milaje, Okoye is an extremely skilled and formidable hand-to-hand combatant and martial artist, having trained extensively and immensely proficient in various forms of combat, marking her one of the greatest martial artists in Wakanda.
- Spear Mastery: Okoye is extremely skilled at using her Vibranium Spear in close quarters combat and as a long ranged weapon.
- Bilingualism: Okoye is fluent in both her native Xhosa and English.
Equipment[]
- Vibranium Spear: Okoye uses a specialized Vibranium spear capable of collapsing into a handle for concealment.
- Dora Milaje Armor: As the General of the Dora Milaje, Okoye wears a slightly more elaborated version of the Dora Milaje armor, notably with the epaulets, bracelets, and necklace being golden instead of silver. Being made of Vibranium weaves, the armor offers high durability and protection.

- Citadel: Okoye stayed at the Citadel to help plan for the defense of Wakanda before the beginning of the Invasion of Wakanda.
