The Nova Corps is an intergalactic peacekeeping organization that quarantined planet Earth to make sure the Quantum Virus did not spread further.

History[]

S.H.I.E.L.D. created an Intergalactic Transmitter for Project Lifeshot to contact the Nova Corps as a last-ditch effort to stop the Zombie plague.[1]

Quarantining the Earth[]

Despite the devastation faced by its ranks at the hands of Thanos during the Infinity War in 2018,[2] the Nova Corps had reformed into a significant force by 2023. By that year, the Nova Corps had also formed a blockade around Earth to contain the spread of the Quantum Virus.

When a group of survivors escaped the planet on the ship Commodore to make contact with the Nova Corps, the corps ordered them to return to their world or face incineration.[3] They then attacked and destroyed the ship, sending the survivors back down to Earth.

The corps were still guarding the planet when the Red Queen siphoned the energy from Infinity Hulk and tricked Ms. Marvel into helping her, causing a huge explosion of energy that rocked several Star Blasters.[4]
