German Control[]
During World War II, Amsterdam in North Holland was under the control of German forces. Johann Schmidt and HYDRA planned to take control of North Holland as well as the rest of the German land by eliminating Berlin as the German capital.[1]
Steel Serpent Drug Sales[]
When the Rand Enterprises's resources to move the Steel Serpent drug, the trade became international. The trade reached all the way to North Holland, where it was sold to M. Chambers in the city of Den Helder and L. Warner in the city of Edam.[2]
Flag Smasher Activity[]
Using the internet to attract local allies to their causes, the Flag Smashers sent up digital pings in the places they would need help achieve their goals. One of these digital pings was sent up in the North Holland city of Amsterdam just before the Flag Smashers executed their plan. This ping was later uncovered by Joaquín Torres.[3]
Night Monkey Arrested[]
Passing out unconscious on a train after his battle with Mysterio, Peter Parker ended up in North Holland in the small town of Broek op Langedijk. Parker was arrested and put in jail, but escaped and used a local's phone to call Happy Hogan to come pick him up. He met Hogan, who picked him up in the Stark Industries Private Jet, in a local tulup field.[4]
