"The Clandestines and Aisha are from another realm. There are many dimensions around us that we cannot see, and this is just one of them — and this is Aisha's home. It’s connected to our world, but hidden. Behind a veil of Noor that separates our world from theirs."
Waleed to Kamala Khan[src]

The Noor Dimension is a dimension in the Multiverse where the Clandestines originate from.

History[]

Exile of the Clandestines[]

"Exiled from their home world and damned to live out their days trapped in our own. They move in shadows, searching for the key that will help them get home."
Yusuf Khan to Bruno Carrelli[src]

For unknown reasons, Najma, Aadam, Aisha, Fariha, and Saleem were exiled to Earth from their home in the Noor Dimension. The five exiles formed a group known as the Clandestines and spent years plotting a way to return the Noor Dimension. The Clandestines were told about a pair of bangles that could be used to open a rift to the Noor Dimension, the group was able to find one of the bangles in a temple in India owned by the Ten Rings. However, they were attacked by British soldiers forcing Aisha to escape with the bangle and be separated from the rest.

Five years later Najma reunited with Aisha and wanted to resume their plan, only to find out Aisha had started a family and hid the bangle. Najma fatally wounded Aisha and swore to find the bangle, before dying Aisha warned Najma that the plan wouldn't work with only one bangle.[1]

Rift Opening[]

In 2025, Aisha's great-granddaughter Kamala Khan was given the bangle as a gift from her grandmother Sana Ali; when Khan put on the bangle, the dormant genetics powers she had inherited from Aisha awakened, granting her the ability to draw energy from the Noor Dimension and shape into solid light constructs. She was also temporarily transported into the Noor Dimension while at the New Jersey AvengerCon.[2] Khan's usage of her Noor powers attracted the attention of the Clandestines, who wanted her help to open a rift back to the Noor Dimension. Bruno Carrelli however warned that attempting to open a rift to the Noor Dimension would be very dangerous.

When Khan hesitated to assist the Clandestines due to the potential risks, they turned against her and tried to take the bangle by force, but were stopped when Damage Control arrested them. Khan traveled to Karachi intending to learn more about the bangle's origin, where she met the Order of the Red Daggers. The Order of the Red Daggers shared their knowledge of the Noor Dimension with Khan, but also warned that if the Clandestines were to succeed in tearing open a rift, the Noor Dimension would consume the Earthly plane.

The Clandestine chased Khan to Karachi and attempted to steal the bangle once more. During the skirmish, two of the Clandestine were killed by the Order of the Red Daggers, but Najma accidentally hit the bangle and inadvertently opened the rift to the Noor Dimension. Fariha attempted to cross the rift but immediately disintegrated. Najma wanted to attempt crossing the rift but was convinced by Khan not to abandon her son, Kamran, Najma instead opted to sacrifice hersef to close the rift. When she did a residual fragment of Noor dimensional energy left the rift and was absorbed by Kamran, giving him the ability to access the Noor the same way Khan did, however, his Noor powers were very unstable and destructive.[3]
