Trivia[]
- Nicole Perlman wrote the original story and screenplay for Guardians of the Galaxy, although it was discarded by James Gunn, who chose to write his own script. However, due to WGA rules, Perlman was still given a co-writer screenplay credit for the film as she was the film's first writer. According to Gunn, "Really, in Nicole's script everything is pretty different. I mean the story is different, there's no Walkman, the character arcs are different, it's not about the same stuff. But that's how the WGA works. They like first writers an awful lot."[2]
- Nicole Perlman wrote a treatment for a Black Widow film around 2010/2011.[3]
