Losing a Baby[]

Nicole met Alphonso Mackenzie and began a relationship with him, with the two getting married. She eventually got pregnant, which made them both very happy. Unfortunately, it soon turned out that their daughter, whom they had named Hope, was severely ill. Hope only lived four days before passing away and Nicole was devastated by the loss of her daughter. Some time after Hope's death, Nicole and Mackenzie divorced.[1]

Eleven years after Hope Mackenzie's death, Nicole saw the date of her lost daughter's birthday approaching. Since the memories were still too much painful to be handled alone, Nicole texted her ex-husband Alphonso Mackenzie to join her for this very special day. Mackenzie agreed to come and the two spent some time together. When he returned to the Playground, Mackenzie told Elena Rodriguez about Nicole and Hope.[1]
