Nico Minoru was a sorcerer and former Runaway who fought against Morgan le Fay. She then ended up breaking up with Karolina Dean and moving away to get stronger in the ways of magic.

Gert's Death[]
Nico prepared for Morgan le Fay's attack by talking to her mother. Suddenly, le Fay's dark army started crossing through via a mirror, forcing Tina to cast a spell to try and keep them at bay. Tina then explained to Nico that her and le Fay used to be friends. However, le Fay was simply manipulating Tina to get possession of the Staff of One. When Tina found out the truth, she took the staff for herself. Nico realized that she could not give le Fay the staff.
Nico ran out of the room and found Alex Wilder to tell him what was going on. She was then found by her friends and injected with a serum that would stop her from being mind controlled by Corvus. Suddenly, le Fay arrived through a portal. When she faced the Runaways, Nico jumped down and threw her dagger at le Fay, believing it would kill her. However, le Fay simply absorbed it, confusing Nico.
le Fay then spoke, giving the Runaways a choice. They could either fight and inevitably lose only to face eternal pain or they could surrender. Although all of the Runaways surrendered, Nico remained valiant as she refused. Luckily, this was just a trick as the Runaways "surrendering" gave Janet and Victor Stein enough time to disable the cell towers, diminishing le Fay's power from Corvus. The Runaways then stoof up, prepared to fight.
Angry, le Fay blasted the gtroup, but Nico shielded everyone with the Staff of One, although it caused her great pain using that much power. le Fay's powers soon engulfed Nico, causing her to scream in pain. However, Karolina Dean used her powers to cover Nico in a force field, allowing her to hold on just a little longer. le Fay then chanted a spell that sent Nico flying, knocking her out.
Nico woke up as the storm settled to find le Fay banished. She was comforted by her mom, but saw that Gert Yorkes was lying on the ground. Yorkes had sacrificed her life to banish le Fay. Everyone watched and grieved as Yorkes died in Chase Stein's arms.[2]

Minoru felt guilty for not having been able to stop Gert Yorkes' as her powers were no match to Morgan le Fay's. Therefore, she decided to leave the Runaways, but chose not to tell anyone, not even her girlfriend Karolina Dean. She spent three years training with a master, greatly expanding her powers to the point that she did not even need the Staff of One to cast spells.
In 2021, Minoru returned to Los Angeles and also heard rumors that Dean was with someone else. Minoru settled in a cabin and started meditating, allowing her to levitate off the ground. Once she finished, she walked over to her phone and texted all of the Runaways, asking to get together in memory of Yorkes. By 2028, Alex Wilder had begun to resent his former friends as he suspected one of them blew up Wilder Innovators Headquarters.
Minoru was killed when Chase Stein traveled back in time and saved Yorkes, erasing Minoru's reality from existence.[1]
