Nico Minoru is a student at Midtown School of Science and Technology who befriended Peter Parker and assisted him with the Infiltration into Midtown High School.
Biography[]
Life in Los Angeles[]
Minoru grew up in Los Angeles and became frustrated with what she felt was people trying to give her an identity. She got accepted to Midtown School of Science and Technology in New York City and moved in with her foster mother, Susan O'Hara at her residence. She hoped this new school would be a new start for her life.[2]
First Day at Midtown High School[]

However, on her first day at Midtown School of Science and Technology, she stood outside the school and talked with her new friend, Peter Parker after there was an Battle at Oscorp Tower. A spider then bit Parker, causing him to fall to the ground. She called for a paramedic as his aunt checked on him. However, the paramedic didn't find anything immediately wrong. Minoru watched as the Parkers and the paramedic talked when suddenly Midtown High School exploded. Minoru teased her for calling the paramedic sir. The two then said goodbye and they went on their way.[2]

Trust me, either Midtown reopens soon, or we're gonna get shuffled around to the worst schools in the city. Goodbye to any shot at a good college, a decent job... goodbye to any kind of worthwhile life!"

Despite Minoru telling her not to, her foster mother decided to visit the Parkers and surprise them with dinner. Minoru was embarrassed by her foster mother as she talked to Peter Parker's aunt. The dinner went well, and afterwards Minoru pushed Parker out of the room before the two could get wrapped into helping wash dishes. The two sat in Parker's room, where Parker tried to show her his stereo-microscope. However, Minoru worried about Midtown High School's destruction. She explained to Parker that she had been looking forward to starting over at Midtown High School and was worried that the comparable institution they were going to be sent to would not be as good as Midtown High School. Parker tried to assure Minoru that Midtown High School would be rebuilt, but Minoru revealed that a real estate conglomerate had been looking to buy the land and suggested that the city would likely sell it. Suspicious, Parker decided to investigate, and Minoru said she would go as well. She then told Parker to meet him at the school at midnight to check out how bad the damage is and told him to wear darker clothing.[2]
Infiltration into Midtown High School[]

At exactly 12:03 am, Minoru arrived at Midtown High School and Peter Parker commented about how she was late. The two bickered about what was considered stealthy before the two snuck inside. Minoru was mainly annoyed about how light Parker's clothing was. Once inside, they investigated a lab realizing that there was a separate attack prior to the Destruction of Midtown High School. They realized that the Destruction had to be deliberate arson due to how the explosion started. Minoru looked up a photo of Silvio Manfredi and explained that a real estate company that wants this property connects back to his brother-in-law of him.

They then heard several mafia men arguing. Minoru told Parker the escape plan and as they tried to move she accidently dropped her flashlight, alerting the mafia men to their location. The mafia men ran after then and Parker said to split up when they found a fork in the hallway, telling her to call 911. She did once she hid behind a door, lamenting the fact that Parker didn't wear darker colors like she wanted. Minoru managed to escape and she went home, worrying about Parker.[2]
Call From Parker[]
When Nico Minoru returned home, and waited in her room worrying about what happened to Peter Parker. When she got the call Minoru chastised him for worrying her but Parker explained he wanted to get home so she knew it wasn't a trap. Minoru tried to counter but he also mentioned how he as too calm and would be freaking out if he had a gun to his head. Parker wanted to figure out what to do next, suggesting calling the cops, but Minoru pointed out how doing so would put a target on them and their families' backs. They both agreed that was not a risk they were willing to take and she sadly accepted that their only choice was to accept going to alternative school. Parker then ended the call with pointing out how they had to go to bed.[2]
First Day at Rockford T. Bales High School[]
Nico Minoru found out they had been assigned to a new school, Rockford T. Bales High School. She found it was a primarily athlete focused school, although she was satisfied with the academics. She caught up with Peter Parker in Queens and informed him of this, and then commented about his garlic breath. In the days before going to Rockford T. Bayes High School, Minoru studied the "apex predators" of the school, including Trip. She acquired a video of Brent confessing his hatred for Trip and that he had slept with Trip's sister.
However come Monday, he walked with Minoru and shared with her how he was not ready for this. Minoru tried to comfort him by saying they were smarter than all of them but Parker said that the GPA here was 3.8. Parker tried to say that they should keep his head down when Trip began yelling at Parker, accusing him of parking in his spot. Trip continued to insult him when Parker tried to defend himself so Nico butted him, insulting him and his online show. They continued to argue before switching tactics, showing him a video of his friend Brent that she acquired. Minoru and Parker walked away and Minoru explained she learned that from Los Angeles before says they had each others' backs and they are unstoppable together, and Parker agreed.[3]
