- In the comics, the New Warriors is a team of young superheroes originally established by Dwayne Taylor. The first roster included Nova, Night Thrasher, Marvel Boy, Namorita, Firestar and Speedball. The team changed its roster many times, and eventually became the stars of a reality show, during which they caused the death of 612 civilians in an explosion and the beginning of the Civil War.
