Ambush at Neptune's World Aquarium[]
Karl Malus regularly visited Neptune's World Aquarium, which David Kawecki learned about. Kawecki told this information to Jessica Jones, who began staking out the aquarium in hopes of finding the woman who had attacked her. Jones continued staking out in the aquarium, and called Eddy Costa to tell him that Kawecki did not kill Luanne McClure. She continued to stake out the aquarium for several days.[1]
Jones finally saw Malus and realized that he was one of the doctors who worked on her after she was in a car accident years prior. Jones took pictures and was surprised when Malus was joined by a mysterious woman, who had been killing people. However, Malus and the woman saw Jones, so the woman broke the glass to one of the tanks and ran, using the commotion to escape. Jones rushed after them, but could not find them. Jones and Trish Walker went to a nearby jewelry store and used the security footage to see that Malus drugged the woman before they left together.[2]
