"I run my practice in Hell's Kitchen, and we mostly do pro bono work."
Matt Murdock to Jennifer Walters[src]

Nelson, Murdock & Page is a law firm in Hell's Kitchen, New York City founded by Foggy Nelson, Matt Murdock and Karen Page as a successor to Nelson and Murdock.

History[]

Goal[]

"Just thinking Nelson and Murdock might be more fun as Nelson, Murdock and Page."
Matt Murdock to Karen Page[src]

Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson ran their own law practice in New York City, Nelson and Murdock, with Karen Page as their assistant. While working on Frank Castle's case, Murdock once suggested Page to try herself at a law school, contemplating making Page a fully-fledged partner, but Page was hesitant at the time.[2]

Official Foundation[]

"We go back to helping people out of a crappy office, getting paid in chickens?"
"I think Theo would let us work out of here, to start."
"At least we'd have a place to sell the chickens."

Nelson, Murdock & Page being founded

Following Wilson Fisk's second incarceration, Foggy Nelson had decided to found a new law firm with Karen Page's official partnership. Theo Nelson allowed them to use Nelson's Meats to work. Matt Murdock and Page agreed with Nelson's plan and together started their work to help people.[3] They decided to do pro bono work while ocassionally taking cases for bigger clients for the money to keep their firm afloat.[4]

Visiting Frank Castle[]

"I work with Nelson and Murdock. They're Mr. Castle's lawyers of record."
Karen Page to Smith[src]

When Frank Castle was arrested for killing several civilians, Karen Page arrived at Sacred Saints Hospital to see him, positioning herself as Castle's lawyer, even though Foggy Nelson and Matt Murdock were unaware. Page helped Dinah Madani investigate the corpses of three women that were supposedly murdered by Castle, ultimately concluding that he was not responsible for their deaths. She helped to liberate Castle and triggered fire alarms to distract the New York City Police Department, allowing Madani to get Castle out of their custody.[5]

Spider-Man/Stark Industries Case[]

Matt Murdock & Happy Hogan

"The feds are actively investigating the missing technology. I understand you're loyal to Mr. Stark and his legacy, but if you were involved..."
"If I was involved?"
"I might secure a lawyer."
Matt Murdock and Happy Hogan[src]

As Peter Parker was exposed as Spider-Man and accused of murdering Mysterio, Matt Murdock was approached to provide legal counseling for him. Murdock successfully cleared Parker of his charges, but noted that, although he was free of legal issues, there was still an issue with the public opinion of him. Murdock also added that Happy Hogan might still need legal advice, since Stark Industries was under Damage Control investigation for the usage of Stark Industries Combat Drones during the Battle of London.[6] Murdock ultimately took it upon himself to represent Hogan and Stark Industries in court, meeting with P. Cleary and Damage Control representatives.[7]
