Eloise Olivia "Ellie" Phimister is a member of the X-Men, known as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Early Life[]
Joining the X-Men[]
Ellie Phimister was born a mutant with the ability to generate explosions from her body, leading her to joining the X-Men, going by the codename Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Along with her mentor Colossus, Negasonic assisted Deadpool rescue his girlfriend. A few years later, Negasonic began a romantic relationship with fellow X-Men member Yukio.[2]

In 2024, Negasonic was invited to Wade Wilson's surprise birthday party at his apartment, along with Yukio and Colossus, as well as the rest of Wilson's friends. After surprising Wilson when he returned home, all the guests mingled with each other. Negasonic commented on Wilson's obvious toupée, but he tried to claim it was a balayage. All the guests listened to Wilson make a speech about how grateful he was to have them in his life. A few days later, they all got together again for dinner, and were joined by Logan and Laura.[2]

- Mutant Physiology: Negasonic was born with the mutant gene, granting her powers beyond human capability.
- Concussive Force Generation: Due to her mutant gene, Negasonic has the power to generate concussive forces of pure energy. These blasts are powerful enough to send people flying back several feet or upwards into the air along with having the ability to push larger objects such as vehicles. The force that the blasts can push these objects is enough to crush an entire person.
- Force Field Generation: Negasonic had the power to use her concussive blasts to form a sort of shield around herself, protecting her from attacks such as fire.

- In the comics, Ellie Phimister was a student of Emma Frost, who died during Cassandra Nova's attack on Genosha. She was later resurrected and joined Deadpool's Mercs for Money.
- Negasonic Teenage Warhead was originally a psychic mutant with precognition abilities, but her powers were changed after the character's introduction in Deadpool.
- In 20th Century Fox's X-Men film series, Negasonic Teenage Warhead is an X-Man and girlfriend of Yukio who often shadowed Colossus on his missions to teach Deadpool how to be a hero.

- Negasonic Teenage Warhead in the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues the live-action incarnation of the character from 20th Century Fox's X-Men film series, who was portrayed by Brianna Hildebrand.
- During the production of Deadpool, Tim Miller requested Kevin Feige's permission to alter Negasonic Teenage Warhead's powers for the movie, as they wanted to use the name for essentially a new character with new powers. Marvel Studios then transferred the cinematic rights to Negasonic Teenage Warhead to 20th Century Fox in exchange for Fox giving them the cinematic rights for Ego the Living Planet, who James Gunn wanted to use in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.[3]
