History[]
Steven Grant’s Employment[]
- "When I was coming in this morning, I saw the banners outside.”
“And that’s what made you late for work again, wasn’t it?" - ―Steven Grant and Donna Kraft[src]
The National Art Gallery contained a gift shop and Steven Grant applied and was hired by Donna Kraft, the staff manager.[1]
Visited by Arthur Harrow[]
- "Will you just, like, not let anyone in, yeah?"
"It's a museum, bruv. That'll be difficult." - ―Steven Grant and J.B.[src]
Steven Grant was pursued by Arthur Harrow at the Gallery. Grant asked J.B., one of the Gallery's security officers, if he would stop letting people come inside. J.B. told him the Gallery was free and that he could not stop anyone who wanted to enter. Grant soon found himself surrounded by Disciples of Ammit, including Ronnie, another Gallery security officer. Harrow confronted Grant and explained who the Disciples were, after Grant expressed shock that Ronnie was one. Harrow then used his scales on his arm to judge him, noting that Grant was full of chaos and could not be judged. Grant swiftly ran away and Harrow told his followers to let him go.[1]
Arthur Harrow's Attack[]
- "Steven Grant of the gift shop. Give me the scarab and you won’t be torn apart."
- ―Arthur Harrow[src]
That night while on inventory duty, Steven Grant heard Arthur Harrow’s voice and was then chased by a jackal that had been sent by Harrow. He attempted to evade the creature by running through the Gallery and locked himself in the men's bathroom. There his alter Marc Spector talked to him through the mirror. He told him to let him have control over his body, in which Grant did, and Spector transformed into the Moon Knight to defeat the being. The monster was killed, although the Gallery's bathroom was destroyed with sinks dislodged and broken and water pipes burst.[1]
