Having married Ivan Romanoff, the woman gave birth to Natasha Romanoff in 1984.[2] When the Red Room saw a genetic potential in Natasha, she was sold to them. However, Natasha's mother became determined to get her daughter back, doing everything she could to reclaim her. Eventually, the mother's attempts caused Dreykov to have her murdered, putting her body in a grave marked as "Unknown".[1]
