Iron Spider Armor[]
Stored by Peter Parker[]
When not in use Peter Parker's Iron Spider Armor is stored in a nanite chamber in his room at his apartment. In 2024, Parker put the armor in the nanite chamber after deciding to leave it home.[5]
Battle at the Alexander Hamilton Bridge[]
- "Nanotechnology. Ah, You've outdone yourself, Peter."
- ―Doctor Octopus to Spider-Man[src]
Later that year, Peter Parker went to the Alexander Hamilton Bridge and was attacked by a universe-displaced Doctor Octopus. During the fight, Doctor Octopus tore off some of Parker's Iron Spider Armor, transferring nanites into his tentacles. Through the connection, Parker was then able to use his armor to control the tentacles.[6]
Returned to Spider-Man[]
When Peter Parker gave Doctor Octopus the Neural Inhibitor Chip, he returned to Otto Octavius. In gratitude, Octavius transferred the nanites back over to Parker, making his upgraded suit integrated with the armor. Following this, Parker abandoned the armor and later the suit, thus the nanites were left unused.[6]
Alternate Realities[]
Drum of Nanites[]
- "I need those nanites to create a delivery mechanism for the cure."
- ―Samuel Sterns[src]
Unable to get accurate data from a sample of Bruce Banner's blood, Samuel Sterns asked Banner to find the source of the interference and move it out of range. Transforming into Hulk, Banner found the jamming device that had been planted by the United States Armed Forces and threw it into a lake in Central Park. At this point, several Enclave soldiers appeared and killed the soldiers at the army barracks. They stole a drum of nanites and returned to their base.
Sterns soon contacted Banner and informed him that the radio waves concealed nanites and needed them to create a delivery mechanism for the cure that he was working on. Becoming the Hulk once again, Banner was informed by Rick Jones that the nanites had been loaded into a garbage truck somewhere in the city. The army were also seeking the nanite drum, but Hulk reached it first and returned it to Sterns at Empire State University.[7]
