Treaty Revival[]
- "Ozaki-san, I want to assure you that America remains committed to sharing our adamantium with the rest of the world. I trust Japan shares that commitment."
- ―Thaddeus Ross to Ozaki[src]
Wanting to get Japanese support back for the proposed Ozaki-Ross Accords, Thaddeus Ross traveled to the Naikaku Sōri Daijin Kantei in Tokyo to speak to Prime Minister Ozaki. During their conversation, Ozaki accused Ross of the United States government executing both the capture and return of the stolen Japanese adamantium, handing him a file of proof gathered by Japanese intelligence. Although Ross denied the accusation, calling it baseless, Ozaki told Ross that Japan wanted no part of the treaty, sending Ross on his way.[1]
