"When Cassie was nine years old, her third-grade teacher assigned the class to write an essay on 'My Hero.'"
Scott Lang[src]

My Daddy, My Hero is a short essay written by Cassie Lang.

History[]

Written by Cassie Lang[]

Cassie Lang's third-grade teacher assigned her and her classmates to write a short essay about their personal hero. Lang chose to write an essay about her father, Scott Lang, and recounted her perspective on the Duel at Jim Paxton's House.[1]

Included in a Memoir[]

Later in 2025, Scott Lang decided to include the essay in his memoir, Look Out for the Little Guy!, as a tribute to his daughter.[1]
