World War II[]
Mueller recieved a letter from Arnim Zola, who talked about his worry over Johann Schmidt, who was descending into madness. Soon, he got word that Abraham Erskine wanted to run to Geneva with his family. This prompted Mueller to write a letter to Schmidt to talk about Erskine's unwillingness to cooperate. He also noted that Adolf Hitler was demanding that Erskine did not accomplish his plan of escaping. Later, Schmidt sent a message to Mueller asking for more resources. Seeing a certain attitude in Schmidt's request, Mueller complained about this to Zola.[1]
