Biography[]
- "The mom called and said you got her daughter back."
"I'm guessing she said a lot more than that."
"She may have referred to you as part of the, uh, female anatomy." - ―Eddy Costa and Jessica Jones[src]
Mrs. Yasdan had a daughter, Cassie, with her husband, Mitch. However, Mitch and Yasdan got a divorce, and Yasdan won custody of Cassie due to Mitch having a bad lawyer. Yasdan was a toxic mother, so Mitch took Cassie to Mexico, wanting to keep his daughter. Yasdan filed a missing persons report. New York City Police Department Detective Eddy Costa gave the case to Jessica Jones, who talked to Yasdan and tracked Mitch down to Mexico, agreeing to help for a fee.
Jones brought Cassie back to her mother. Cassie angrily entered the building, and Yasdan insulted her ex-husband to Jones, and Jones attempted to suggest that Yasdan allow Cassie to see Mitch if she wants. Yasdan became angry and scolded her, deciding not to pay the fee they agreed on. Jones looked at Yasdan angrily, prompting her to run inside over fear of Jones' strength. Yasdan proceeded to call Costa and tell him what happened, insulting Jones to the detective.[1]
