Ranger Morales is a Park Ranger who worked with Bill Foster to capture Winter Soldier and Red Guardian.

Morales was the first to arrive on the scene of the attack on Howard and Maria Stark where she met Bill Foster, who took charge of the investigation. Morales filled Foster in on what had happened, mentioning how two men were seen fighting at the scene and had escaped, leaving traces of a blue liquid. Foster informed Morales of the importance of what they had stolen and ordered the two men to be found.

When Foster found the two super soldiers, they drove away, commencing a high speed chase. Morales picked Foster up in her car and they followed after them. Morales drove up next to the car, but Winter Soldier punched his arm through Morales' car and forced her off the road. Morales then witnessed as Foster exited the car and transformed into Goliath, impressing Morales. Morales caught up with Foster, and the two witnessed as the super soldiers drove off a cliff, making Morales think they were either brave of dumb.

Morales found the crashed vehicle, and when Foster asked about her still being on the case, Morales told him about the time she wrestled with a mountain lion, explaining that she does scare easily. They found a Thomas Guide with the map of Las Vegas missing, so they decided to head there to find the super soldiers. When they arrived, they found Obadiah Stane dead on the ground, making them wonder why the Starks were spared and not him. They then witnessed Winter Soldier and Red Guardian run past them, so they followed.

Inside a casino, Winter Soldier shot several of the machines so money would spill out, causing Morales and Foster to be blocked by the swarm of people that had gathered. Morales decided to collect some of the money and put it in her hat, as she was not getting paid overtime for her work. After Winter Soldier and Red Guardian escaped into a building, Foster ordered Morales to call in SWAT to surround them. When they entered the building, they discovered the Red Room were present, so both sides opened fire, with Red Guardian escaping and Winter Soldier being captured by the Red Room.[1]
