- "She said I needed the suit."
"Yeah, the ceremonial armor from Khonshu's temple, not psycho Colonel Sanders." - ―Steven Grant and Marc Spector[src]
Moon Knight's Suit is a ceremonial suit of armor granted by Khonshu to his Avatars. The armor can also be summoned as Mr. Knight's Suit that has the same capabilities but with a business look.
History[]
Worn by Arthur Harrow[]
The suit was originally worn by Arthur Harrow during his operations as the first Moon Knight, back when he was the avatar of Khonshu. Eventually, Harrow lost faith in Khonshu and swore allegiance to Ammit, and as a result lost the suit.[1]
Worn by Marc Spector[]
First Transformation[]
When Marc Spector was turned into Moon Knight by Khonshu, the suit of armor was summoned.[2]
Ambush on Steven Grant[]
This section needs a rewrite |
After Steven Grant allowed Marc Spector to take over his body, he transformed into Moon Knight and summoned the suit. He then proceeded to ruthlessly beat the creature into submission, dragging it back into the bathroom when it attempted to flee. After pummeling the helpless creature with his fist, Moon Knight stood victorious over its dead body before exiting the destroyed bathroom.[3]
Kidnapping of Steven Grant[]
Steven Grant later was being chased by a Jackal then fell out of the building they were in. As he fell, he tried to summon the suit, but instead summoned the Mr. Knight suit, which consisted of a white business man attire. He attempted to fight the jackal while wearing the costume, but did not succeed. Then, Grant finally agreed to allow Spector to retake control of the body, who summoned his version of the suit. Spector chased the creature across multiple rooftops, pulling a Crescent Blade out of the suit's emblem to defeat the Jackal.[1]
Battle at Anton Mogart's Estate[]
After Arthur Harrow arrived at Anton Mogart's estate and offered Anton Mogart a better deal than Spector and El-Faouly had, Mogart's men turned against them. Spector summoned the Moon Knight suit and stood on the top of the building, confronting them. He wore the suit as he fought them off, until Grant took control and summoned the Mr. Knight suit.[4]
Turning Back The Sky[]
As Khonshu and Grant began to turn back the sky two thousand years, he summoned the Mr. Knight suit. After successfully changing back the sky, Khonshu was imprisoned in stone by the Ennead Council, resulting in Grant losing his powers and the suit.[4]
Resurrection[]
After Marc Spector was resurrected, he regained his powers, and the suit materialized around him. He then used his suit to fly to his final confrontation with Harrow.[5]
Final Battle with Harrow[]
To be added[5]
Capabilities[]
- "See how you fare against Harrow without the protection of my healing armor."
- ―Khonshu to Marc Spector[src]
- Suit Summoning: Khonshu's Avatars have the ability to materialize the ceremonial suit of armor. The suit slowly forms onto their body. Each Avatar has their own version of the suit, depending on how they imagined it. When Steven Grant summons the suit of armor, it changes into a business suit.
- Crescent Blades: The emblem on the ceremonial army provides infinite projectiles called Crescent Blades. Whenever Moon Knight needs the Crescent Darts, he can pull one (or more) out of his emblem, although he can also just manifest them.
- Weapon Generation: The suit allows its users to generate weapons seemingly out of thin air. When Steven Grant wore the suit, he unexpectedly drew a pair of truncheons while searching its pockets.
- Protection: The suit is shown to be bulletproof, though it is not totally invulnerable as Marc and Steven were stabbed several times by Mogart's men with spears. Likewise, Steven survived the multi-story fall out a window without significant injury, though it apparently still hurt.
- Divine Power Augmentation: Wearing the suit seems to strengthen Khonshu and his avatar's connection, allowing each to perform greater feats than he normally can. Wearing the suit drastically increases Marc and Steven's strength and agility and allows them to regenerate severe injuries almost instantly. In his Mr. Knight persona, Steven helped Khonshu turn back the night sky by 2,000 years. The suit seems to respond to its wearer's will, with the cape wrapping around Layla to protect her from bullets and then launching those bullets back at the men who fired them.
- Flight: Marc used the suit to fly to his final battle with Arthur Harrow. This ability seems to be unique to the Moon Knight suit, as it requires the cape which is not present on the Mr. Knight suit.

Behind the Scenes[]
- In early production, Steven Grant originally had the Moon Knight Suit while Marc Spector had the Mr. Knight suit. However, Oscar Isaac suggested that they fit better for the characters when switched. The crew agreed.[6]
- The crew wanted "Moon Knight" engraved on the suit in hieroglyphics. However, the word "Knight" is non-existent in hieroglyphics so they had to settle with "The Protecting Soldier of the Moon."[6]
