Molly Hayes Hernandez[1] is a powered individual and former member of the Runaways who lost her sister to Morgan le Fay. She then went on to lead her dance team like she always wanted.

Battle at the Hostel[]
Death of Her Sister[]
To prepare for Morgan le Fay's attack, Hernandez and Gert Yorkes watched as Dale Yorkes created a serum to counter the attacks of Corvus. Hernandez thought it was very cool Dale was using Chase Stein's protein shake bowl as a centrifuge. Dale remarked saying he knew he did stupid things, so he knew his daughters forgot he was actually smart. The daughters told him it was very cool.
Dale finished the serum and injected it into Hernandez, telling her of the side effects like sausage fingers. Hernandez got really worried as she did not want that and quickly checked her appendages. Once Gert was injected, they walked out to get everyone else injected. The last person was Stein, but they only saw him mind controlled by Corvus. Stein wound up his Fistigons to shoot at Gert, but Hernandez jumped in the way and tackled Stein, allowing him to be injected.
Suddenly, le Fay arrived through an Inter-Dimensional Portal. Hernandez readied herself only for le Fay to tell them they could surrender and free themselves of eternal pain. Knowing Janet Stein needed more time to shut down cell towers, Hernandez knelt to le Fay like the other Runaways. This tricked le Fay and allowed Janet to diminish le Fay's power by disabling Corvus. le Fay then attacked the Runaways, who were saved by Nico Minoru and the Staff of One.
Hernandez and Yorkes ran to the dining room for cover where Yorkes remembered Tina Minoru was preparing magic salt that could defeat le Fay. Once Yorkes returned from getting the salt, the sisters approached the witch only for her to blast them both away. Hernandez hit a wall and was knocked unconscious. When Hernandez woke up, she found her sister lying on the floor, having defeated le Fay, but suffered injuries because of it. Yorkes then died as Dale and Stacey Yorkes ran to their daughter.[2]

Despite grieving, Hernandez decided to resume the normal course of his life and returned to finish her course of study at Atlas Academy. She became the new head of the dance squad and started welcoming boys among the team. Dale Yorkes and Stacey Yorkes also went on an expedition in Honduras. On the three year anniversary of Gert Yorkes' death, Hernandez held practice where she helped Christina with her form. She then sat down on a bench at the cnclusion of practice and was approached by Brianna, who thanked her for bing captain.

Although attending classes like a girl of her age, Hernandez did not return to live with her parents and instead continued to reside at the Hostel with Old Lace and Chase Stein. When she walked into the Hostel, she was approached by Old Lace, who scared her, but she then pet the Dinosaur. Hernandez then went to Stein's room and tried to talk to him about Yorkes' death. However, Stein brushed it off and wanted to get back to work on his time machine as he believed he could save Yorkes. Thus, Hernandez prepared for the rest of the former Runaways to arrive so they could celebrate Yorkes' life.[3]
