Mitch Yasdan married a woman and had a daughter with her named Cassie Yasdan. Yasdan and his wife got divorced, and although Cassie wanted to be with her father, Yasdan had a bad lawyer who failed to get Yasdan custody of his daughter. Wanting to keep his daughter away from her toxic mother, Yasdan forged documents and took Cassie to Mexico. Jessica Jones traveled to Mexico and confronted Yasdan on the beach. Yasdan and Cassie pled their case with Jones, attempting to convince her not to bring Cassie to her mother. Yasdan grabbed Jones' arm, prompting Jones to angrily throw Yasdan across the beach. Jones brought Cassie to her mother, despite Cassie's anger toward her, and a video of Jones throwing Yasdan went viral online. Jones later asked Jeri Hogarth to get the video taken down.[1]
