The subject of this article is part of an MCU franchise story that has been officially deemed to be non-canonical to the primary continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Its events instead occur in another reality within the Multiverse. This universe is designated by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki as the "Mangog Unleashed Universe".

Mire Giants are creatures native to Vanaheim.

History[]

Mire Giants were used to drag skiffs through the river. Thor fought against one of them after being stranded on Vanaheim by Loki. He later rode a skiff that was being pulled by a Mire Giant in order to reach Frostgrinder in hopes of returning to Asgard. The Giant was attacked in hopes of stopping Thor, but Thor saved it and rode it to Frostgrinder. As Thor went to Frostgrinder, the Mire Giant got angry and attacked Thor, although Thor defeated it.[1]
